It was reported that the Los Angeles Chargers‘ top targeted wide receiver, Ladd McConkey is officially listed as questionable with a shoulder injury ahead of their Monday Night Football game against the Baltimore Ravens.

McConkey suffered a rib cartilage injury in the first half of Sunday night’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Despite the injury, he was able to return to the game and finished with 123 receiving yards.

He was unable to practice because of the injury on Thursday, but was a participant on Friday and Saturday’s practice, although in a limited capacity.

This isn’t McConkey’s first stint on the injury report. He first cropped up on the report after injuring his hip early on against the Denver Broncos in Week 6. He played the remainder of that game but played just 63 percent of the team’s offensive snaps. He is averaging over 70 percent on the season.

He was limited and missed some practice for the next three weeks — not returning to full action until just before the Cleveland Browns game in Week 9, although he did play a full snap load in those games.

The rookie second-rounder leads the Chargers with 63 targets and 43 receptions. That is 21 more receptions than the next most wide receiver, Quentin Johnston. He also leads the team with 615 yards receiving and he also has four touchdowns.

Chargers tight end, Hayden Hurst was ruled out. He was the only other member of the offense whose game status was affected by injury this week. Hurst has struggled to get healthy missing most of the last six games due to a groin and hip injury.
