Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman is playing on a different planet. What he is doing right now will go down as one of the most impressive runs in MLB Postseason history.
In fact, he has rewritten history.
In the top of the first inning of Game 4 of the World Series, Freeman took a slider deep over the right-field wall for his 4th home run of the series, and his 6th straight World Series game with a home run dating back to his last World Series appearance with the Atlanta Braves.
Freddie Freeman Makes World Series History
The previous record of five straight games was held by George Springer during his time with the Houston Astros.
No player has ever homered in every World Series game in a single series, and only Springer did it in four straight of a single series.
Freeman became only the 3rd player in baseball history to homer in the first three World Series games joining Hank Bauer of the Yankees in 1958 and Barry Bonds of the Giants in 2002.
