Just when Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams was just starting to heat up, he was taken to the locker room with a hand injury. He emerged with a significant amount of gauze wrapped around his hand.

Kyren Williams Injured. Has Not Returned To Action

Williams has been used inconsistently for much of the game. He rushed the ball six times in the first half and seven more at the time of his injury. Williams averaged 22 carries per game during the regular season. On the drive in which he was forced to exit the game, he had 34 yards and six carries. He did not play a snap in the Rams subsequent offensive drive.

Ronnie Rivers will take over lead running back duties. He has two carries for seven yards and two catches for 20 yards. The Rams also have Royce Freeman on the active roster. Rookie Zach Evans is inactive for the game.
