According to Adam Schefter, via twitter.com, the Los Angeles Rams have filled what looks to be the team’s final coaching vacancy with Dave Ragone as the new quarterbacks coach, replacing Zac Robinson who departed for Atlanta as Raheem Morris’ offensive coordinator.

Los Angeles Rams Fill Vacant QB Coach Position
Ironically enough, Dave Ragone served as the Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator under Arthur Smith from 2021 to 2023. Not so ironically, Ragone worked under Sean McVay in 2015 when McVay was offensive coordinator for the Washington Professional Football Team. Ragone was an offensive quality control coach that season and left to become the quarterbacks coach for the Chicago Bears in 2016.
He started in the John Fox regime in and was retained by Matt Nagy, who promoted him to passing game coordinator in 2020. In Chicago, Ragone worked with several quarterbacks in his first year including Jay Cutler, Matt Barkley, and Brian Hoyer. The Bears then drafted Mitch Trubisky in his second year with the team.
Before that, Ragone worked with the Tennessee Titans from 2011-2013 where he worked with Arthur Smith. As the QB coach in 2013, he worked with Jake Locker and Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Ragone played quarterback as a three-year starter for Louisville and was drafted in the third round by the Houston Texans in 2003. He was traded to the then-St. Louis Rams but was released in 2006.
