Ranking The Los Angeles Rams Best Fantasy Football Prospects

The Los Angeles Rams are geared up to be perhaps one of the best fantasy football rosters in the NFL this season.

Between Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua, Matthew Stafford, and Cooper Kupp, the team has four starting quality players available for managers this year.

However, if you want to draft a high-end member of the team but are unsure which to go after, here’s a look at how you should prioritize all four players.

Who Are Best Los Angeles Rams Fantasy Football Prospects

#1 – Kyren Williams, RB

The Rams might be willing to try out Williams as the team’s punt returner this year, but don’t let that scare you away. The team will not be able to resist using Williams just as much in the starting lineup throughout the year as they did in 2024.

There are few bell-cow running backs available in 2024 and with Kyren getting taken in the first round in most leagues, he is a go-to for anyone picking later than sixth overall. According to Pro Football Reference, Williams earned about 1,300 all-purpose yards and 15 total touchdowns.

#2 – Puka Nacua, WR

The Los Angeles Rams wide receiver had a breakout rookie campaign, but his follow-up season has already run into a snag. Nacua is dealing with a hamstring injury that may or may not be a factor in his production this year.

Still, the long-term risk appears minimal for Nacua, and with Cooper Kupp around to soak up double teams, it could be as easy as ever for the receiver to get open.

Last year, in a season largely lacking Kupp, he earned 1,486 yards and six touchdowns.

#3 – Matthew Stafford, QB

Matthew Stafford has had recent injuries and his age acts as a factor dragging down his value. However, Stafford threw for more than 40 touchdowns just three seasons ago and has a loaded offense once again in 2024.

For any doubters thinking that it has been too long for him to cross that threshold again or even get close, Stafford’s 40 touchdowns in 2021 came after a ten-season pattern of falling below that mark.

Of course, this isn’t a green light to take him in the third round for the highest price possible, but with him working as a sleeper candidate in most drafts, Stafford can be had for cheap.

#4 – Cooper Kupp, WR

In 2021, Cooper Kupp was as good of a receiver as the NFL has ever had. However, with health serving as a constant factor since the 2022 season, adding Kupp is a risk for managers. Still, the talent appears to be there as he logged 737 yards and five touchdowns in 12 games in 2023.

However, the Rams have Kupp listed as the number one receiver, so he will receive a decent amount of attention this season on top of everything by his reputation alone.

Of course, this isn’t an invitation to skip the wide receiver out of Eastern Washington University, but it is worth attempting to take him later than Puka Nacua in typical receiving rounds.
