Latest Los Angeles Rams News Offers Ominous Update on Puka Nacua Injury and Cooper Kupp’s Status

Arguably no other team in the NFL has been impacted by injuries during the 2024 NFL season as much as the Los Angeles Rams. Multiple offensive linemen have missed time. Puka Nacua hasn’t played since Week 1. Cooper Kupp hasn’t played until Week 2.

Matthew Stafford won’t get to throw to either Cupp or Nacua today against the Chicago Bears. That won’t change in Week 5 when the Rams take on the Green Bay Packers either.

How long will Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp be out of the Los Angeles Rams’ lineup? Fox Sports’ NFL insider Jay Glazer provided an update on Sunday before the Week 4 games kicked off, and it’s not looking good for the Rams.

According to Glazer, Nacua is expected to be out for another month while recovering from his knee injury. Meanwhile, Kupp’s ankle injury will cause him to miss “at least the next two weeks.”

This means Stafford will be without his top two receivers from at least Weeks 2-6. For Nacua, it’s an even longer absence, as he hasn’t played since the season opener and may not be back until Week 9’s matchup against the Seattle Seahawks on Nov. 3.

Tyler Johnson and Demarcus Robinson have stepped up in Nacua and Kupp’s absence, and it looks like Stafford will have to maintain that momentum for at least a few more weeks.
