Three Important Packers Return To Practice Ahead Of Week 5 Matchup With Rams

The Los Angeles Rams are preparing to take on the Green Bay Packers and according to the latest injury reports, they will likely have to include two important defenders and Jordan Love in their game plan. Both cornerback Jaire Alexander and nose tackle Kenny Clark started the week (Wednesday) not on the practice field, but by Thursday they returned to action, albeit in a limited capacity. Meanwhile, Jordan Love was a full participant for the first time since Week 1.

Alexander missed their Week 4 game against the Minnesota Vikings game due to a combination of quad and groin injuries. The Packers haven’t given a definitive statement about his status, but head coach Matt LaFleur left the door open for his return against the Rams.

Fellow defensive back Carrington Valentine has missed the last two weeks but was back to practice this week.

Kenny Clark, NT

Clark has been playing through with a toe injury since the beginning of the season. Clark hasn’t been a full participant through a whole week since sustaining the injury. He has played in each game so far this season, on the field for over 70 percent of the team’s defensive snaps.

Clark’s play could be affected by the injury. He has 10 tackles, but just nine quarterback pressures and no tackles for loss.

Jordan Love

Love missed two games due to a knee injury suffered in Week 1. He made his return in what ended up being a loss against the Minnesota Vikings last week. In the game, he threw 52 passes completing 59 percent of them for 389 yards throwing four touchdowns and three interceptions. He ran only one time for six yards. Although he only took one sack he faced the most quarterback pressures of the week.
