The Los Angeles Rams starting tight end Tyler Higbee was off to a great start in the Wild Card game against the Minnesota Vikings. Higbee caught five passes for 58 yards including a 23-yard pick-up from Matthew Stafford in the first quarter.
Early in the second quarter, it was announced that Higbee left the game with a chest injury and was officially ruled OUT to return to the game.
Higbee OUT In Los Angeles Rams Vs Vikings
Higbee only recently rejoined the active roster, having missed most of the regular season recovering from surgery after tearing his MCL and ACL in last season’s Wild Card playoff loss against the Detroit Lions.
He played a limited role in Weeks 16 and 17, before playing a season-high 27 snaps in Week 18.
The Rams also have Colby Parkinson, Davis Allen, and Hunter Long on the roster at tight end. Parkinson leads them in playing time and has played in Higbee’s absence thus far.
