The Los Angeles Rams didn’t see themselves entering Week 9 with a 3-4 record. But after losing Aaron Donald to retirement and then not having Cooper Kupp or Puka Nacua for multiple weeks, even having three wins is impressive.
But now the Rams approach Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline in no man’s land. A win moves them to 4-4, which is somehow good enough to compete for the NFC West divisional lead. Yet, a loss brings the Rams to 3-5, further establishing their place as the last-place team in their division. So it’s understandable that Les Snead’s trade deadline plans are a bit convoluted.

Los Angeles Rams won’t trade Cooper Kupp, still shopping Tre’Davious White
Before rattling off wins against the Las Vegas Raiders and Minnesota Vikings, Cooper Kupp trade rumors were filling the airwaves. Now, there’s virtually no chance the Los Angeles Rams trade one of their star receivers.
But that doesn’t mean another aging veteran could be getting jettisoned from the roster ahead of Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline.
Tre’Davious White has fallen out of favor after signing a one-year contract this past offseason. Having been ruled as a healthy scratch for the past three games, it only makes sense for the Rams to see which teams are interested in the former All-Pro cornerback.
Yet, after playing in just ten games from 2022-23, some teams may have some concerns about how long the 29-year-old will hold up for the rest of this season too.
