Allen was working with the first team and has a real shot at playing time with Higbee sidelined. The team has a good chance of playing a lot of 12 personnel in a pseudo-tight end by committee.

When asked what he expects from his receiver room, he noted that all the guys are intrinsically motivated and competitive, pushing each other to improve. He also mentioned that continuity is huge for any room, especially his receivers.

Notably, Cooper Kupp who he missed last training camp is back in full force. Between Kupp and rookie sensation Puka Nacua, the Rams have one of the best duos in the entire NFL.
