Los Angeles Dodgers Look To End Skid Without Top Bat In Lineup

The Los Angeles Dodgers are on a two-game skid at the hands of the Chicago Cubs. Luckily, they now get a hapless Colorado Rockies team who didn’t score a single run in their series with the San Diego Padres.

A perfect opportunity to rebound.

However, they will have to do so tonight without one of their top bats, Teoscar Hernández.

The Dodgers just released their lineup card for tonight’s game against the Rockies, and Hernández is not on it. All indications are that it is just simply a scheduled rest day for the star right fielder.

They do get Freddie Freeman back in the lineup after he missed last night’s game for a rest day.

Here is the full starting lineup:

  1. Shohei Ohtani, DH
  2. Mookie Betts, SS
  3. Freddie Freeman, 1B
  4. Will Smith, C
  5. Michael Conforto, LF
  6. Tommy Edman, CF
  7. Max Muncy, 3B
  8. Enrique Hernández, 2B
  9. Andy Pages, RF
  10. Dustin May, SP

Teoscar currently leads the Dodgers in Hits with 18 and RBIs with 16. He is third on the team in batting with an average of .281.

The first pitch is scheduled for 7:10 PM PT at Dodger Stadium.
