The four and five matchup in the Western Conference between the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers may end up being the best series in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
Prior to the playoffs beginning, this series was pegged as one of the better ones to watch.
The Clippers have been the Cinderella team in the NBA as they are extremely well-coached and just played really solid basketball all season. They let Paul George walk for nothing in the offseason, and did not get their star Kawhi Leonard in the lineup till the mid-way point, and yet they hung around and ended the season as one of the hottest teams in the NBA.
The Nuggets, who won the title two years ago, have had a roller coaster of a season that hit its biggest dip when they fired both their head coach, Michael Malone, and GM Calvin Booth, mere games before the playoffs began.
Well, Game 1 did not disappoint, and the NBA world has reacted to the epic clash.
NBA World Reacts To Wild Clippers Vs. Nuggets Game 1 Clash
After a dud first game between the Bucks and Pacers, the Clippers and Nuggets game kicked off the NBA Playoffs with a bang. After a thrilling end, the game needed overtime to decide its fate.
The Nuggets ultimately closed the game out in epic fashion by turning over a Clippers inbound with a chance to tie with under 10 seconds remaining. Denver would seal the game 112-110 in an OT Thriller.
This series is going to be bonkers.

I have a feeling this series is just getting going and we may get these kind of reactions every game for hopefully a full 7-game series.
Clippers-Nuggets is easily the best series of the first round
