The Los Angeles Lakers are 4-6 in their last 10 games but still sit in 4th place in the Western Conference with 10 games to play before the playoffs begin.
This rough 10-game stretch is primarily due to an injury bug that kept the bulk of their starting five in flux. Because of this, the Lakers have made a roster move as they prepare for a deep playoff run.

During this injury stretch, Goodwin has become a key contributor for head coach JJ Redick and could become a valuable depth piece during the playoffs.
He is currently averaging 6.4 points and 3.9 rebounds in 20.5 minutes per game. He is also shooting 41% from behind the arc.
In order to make this move, Los Angeles is waiving small forward Cam Reddish. Reddish, a former first-round pick in 2019, is averaging just 3.2 points and 2.0 rebounds this season.
The Lakers take on the Bulls tonight in Chicago at 5:00 PM PT.
