The USC Trojans have recently gone all in on the slogan “The pLAce To Be.” Used correctly, it is a powerful recruiting tool demonstrating everything that the City of Los Angeles and USC have to offer.
Now the Trojan’s social team just dropped an epic hype video showing just that.
USC Trojans, The pLAce To Be
Lincoln Riley famously stood on the concourse of the Coliseum and proclaimed USC as the “Mecca of College Football.” Many have scoffed at that declaration since, primarily due to back-to-back underwhelming seasons.
But what Riley proclaimed back when he was hired is absolutely attainable. When USC football is humming, it just hits differently.
While LA has so much to offer, it is still a football town. When the NFL left, USC became the city’s professional football team. The Trojans weren’t just an event that you attended on Saturdays, they were a lifestyle.

Riley, and the elite staff that he has built, want to get USC back to that glorious pinnacle, at the forefront of College Football.
His new GM, Chad Bowden, aims to make this happen. In his introductory press conference, he talked about, repeatedly, how LA is the greatest city in America, and USC is the pLAce to be. He is going to use every resource possible to establish a program that is a force to be reckoned with.
This hype video covers all of that…to the tune of LA’s own, Kendrick Lamar.
Take a look for yourself.
