Ja’Kobi Lane With An Insane Catch
At 6’4, Lane is a mismatch for just about every cornerback in college football. On this play, Miller Moss threw a nice fade route to the corner of the end zone where only Lane could get it. The Maryland corner was actually holding Lane’s right harm, so Lane did the natural thing and just plucked the ball out of the air with one hand.
This was Lane’s first touchdown in two games after having a two-touchdown, 105-yard performance against Wisconsin.
On the season, Lane has 23 catches, 252 yards, and 4 touchdowns. He has the ability to be one of the best receivers in the country. Getting him the ball consistently is key, and allowing him to make plays with his size and athleticism.
