The current Las Vegas Raiders head coach, Pete Carroll, spends one day a week at the place that launched his successful career. While he led the USC Trojans to National Championships, he is now back on campus, leading and mentoring students about the Game of Life.
During this week’s lecture, he had a surprise guest, the GOAT, Tom Brady.

Tom Brady Joins Pete Carroll’s Lecture At USC
From what I have gathered, Carroll’s class is to prepare students for the future by sharing insight and stories from people who have been successful, but more importantly, overcame trials and tribulations. Nothing in life comes easy; while you can have all the school smarts in the world, sometimes it takes something else to truly become successful.
Tom Brady and Pete Carroll, for that matter, are the embodiment of this notion.
Brady, a 6th-round pick out of Michigan, became not just the greatest quarterback in NFL history, not just one of the great athletes of all time, but also an unbelievably successful businessman who is now a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.

Pete Carroll jokes during the clip that Brady is now his boss.
During the class, another surprise guest appeared: USC Trojans women’s basketball star Juju Watkins.
She is coming off a devastating torn ACL that kept her from finishing the season, and perhaps, guiding the USC Trojans to a National Championship.
She was able to ask Brady about how he overcame his injury, one that knocked him out for an entire season, and come back even better than before, and win multiple Super Bowls after the fact.
This class alone might be worth the yearly tuition at USC. I’m sure Raiders star Maxx Crosby will be making an appearance soon…
