Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban cornerback Elbert Hill is set to return to the USC Trojans for another visit this weekend. The Trojans are among the front-runners for Hill, and this visit marks his third to the campus this calendar year. “They really letting him know he’s definitely the top, top priority,” Hill’s father, Rock, said.

This was enough for On3’s Steve Wiltfong to drop the “Fong Bomb” prediction on X.com that Hill would ultimately choose the Trojans.
USC, led by Lincoln Riley, is competing with other prominent programs such as Oregon, Ohio State, and Alabama for Hill’s commitment.
“Just the whole coaching staff and Coach Riley,” Hill’s father emphasized. “Coach Riley has been awesome. The relationship he’s built with him, me, our family. Coach Weston, Coach Lynn, Coach Reed, they’re doing a phenomenal job recruiting us. Just the vision and the plan they laid on the table is awesome.”
According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Hill is the No. 1 recruit in Ohio and the No. 4 cornerback nationally. He is a coveted target for USC, which already boasts On3’s No. 2-ranked recruiting class, featuring a strong secondary haul, including No.3 CB RJ Sermons, four-star Edge Braden Jones, three-star CB Madden Riordan, four-star CB Brandon Lockhart, four-star Edge Xavier Griffin, four-star WR Ja’Myron Baker and three-star ATH Joshua Holland.
