USC Trojans Earn Commitment From Local Talented Two-Way Player

The USC Trojans have added to their 2026 class by earning the commitment of versatile two-way player Andrew Williams.

The 6’5, 220-pound Williams received a scholarship offer from USC just a few hours prior, demonstrating his desire to be a Trojan.

The 3-star player also had offers from Colorado State and San Diego State. Chad Savage was the lead recruiter for Colorado State in the SoCal region, so it was only natural for him to convince the USC staff to offer him.

I am waiting to confirm, but based on what we know and have heard Savage say since being hired, building relationships is extremely important to him in the recruiting process, so it seems safe to say he had a relationship built with Williams, leading to his rapid commitment to the Trojans once the official offer came.

According to Blair Angulo of 247 Sports, Williams has been garnering interest from Michigan State, Minnesota, Arizona State, Alabama, and UCLA. So USC will still have to work to keep his commitment, but the addition of Savage to the staff will certainly help.

While Savage likely recruited Williams at Colorado State, the official offer from USC came from Coach Henderson, leading us to believe that Williams will play EDGE at the next level, versus tight end, which he also plays in high school.

Williams plays his high school ball at John C. Fremont High School in Los Angeles, just a few miles from USC’s campus.

Last season Williams finished with 80 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, nine sacks, and three forced fumbles. He also had 12 total touchdowns on offense.

This is another great addition to the USC Trojans 2026 class and a player who could really develop into a nice piece.
