USC Trojans Elite Commit Joins In On The Recruiting Effort

One thing that has been so cool about the surge in USC Trojans recruiting is that a lot of effort is coming from the players, not just the coaches and front office.

In the 2025 class, DL Jahkeem Stewart has made it known that the Trojans are building something legendary, and he has been pushing for players from the south to join the effort. After committing to USC in December, he posted, “The 2026 Class that I am putting together will go down in USCFB History #FightOn.”

2025 QB Husan Longstreet has also been in on recruiting players to squad up, including 2026 priority CB Brandon Arrington.

2026 running back commit Shahn Alston has also been hot on the recruiting trail for the USC Trojans.

Perhaps the biggest advocate of the Trojans currently is elite CB commit Brandon Lockhart. He is seemingly everywhere and has been putting in work in building out the 2026 class.

Now it looks like USC Trojans 2026 QB Commit Jonas Williams is joining in on the recruiting action.

USC Trojans QB Commit Jonas Williams Joins The Recruiting Effort

Williams is currently in Dallas for the Overtime OT7 7-on-7 tournament. Most of the top skill position recruits compete in tournaments like this year round. This includes a pair of top Mater Dei prospects.

Williams told On3 that while at the camp, he is recruiting Monarchs tight Mark Bowman and wide receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt.

Bowman is currently favored to commit to the USC Trojans, per On3’s recruiting prediction machine. He has official visits scheduled with Alabama on May 30th, Texas on June 6th, USC on June 17th, and Oregon on June 20th. He is the No. 2 ranked tight end in industry rankings.

Dixon-Wyatt is currently favored to join teammate Chris Henry Jr. at Ohio State, but USC is in 2nd and firmly in the mix. He has official visits scheduled with Alabama on May 16th, Ohio State on May 30th, USC on June 6th, and Oregon on June 20th. Dixon-Wyatt is the 17th-ranked WR in the 2026 class.

Chad Savage and the rest of the coaching staff will be pushing hard for both Bowman and Dixon-Wyatt, but if commits like Jonas Williams continue to join the process, it will only help the cause.
