USC Trojans Pushing Hard To Flip Another Oregon Commit

The USC Trojans have the No. 1 2026 recruiting class and are striving to add to it. This morning, they earned a commitment from 3-star offensive lineman Chase Deniz. Yesterday, they got a prediction to flip 4-star elite defensive lineman Tomuhini Topui after he decommitted from Oregon.

As they continue to rebuild the wall around California, they are surging for another Oregon verbal commit.

Topui’s teammate at Mater Dei, OT Kodi Greene, has been committed to the Ducks since August. With coach Zach Hanson moving to the offensive line for the Trojans, and with the hire of Chad Bowden and his staff in the front office, USC has gained some real momentum in potentially flipping the talented Monarch.

USC Trojans Surging To Flip Kodi Greene

Standing 6’6 and weighing 310 pounds, Greene is the 4th-ranked offensive tackle in the nation, according to On3 Industry Rankings.

He has an unofficial visit scheduled with the Trojans in three days on March 29th, and currently two official visits scheduled:

  • Oregon: June 6
  • USC: June 20

His visit on Saturday could be extremely impactful as the Trojans already have some momentum, and that visit could really push them towards a potential flip.

There is still a long way to go, but flipping the No. 1 prospect in the State of California, especially from Oregon, would be a huge deal and would further push the 2026 class to epic proportions.

The Trojans currently have three offensive linemen committed: Esun Tafa, John Fifita, and Chase Deniz. Greene would be a huge addition.
