The USC Trojans kicked off their spring practices on Tuesday, and there is already a flurry of excitement around the program.
After decommiting from Oregon on Tuesday, high-priority local prospect Tomuhini Topui was on campus to take in the sights and sounds from practice. Nothing is official yet, but he has been predicted by multiple outlets, including LAFB, to commit to the Trojans.
We are in the midst of Thursday’s practice kicking off, and the visiting recruit list is extremely impactful. These are all unofficial visitors, but anytime Lincoln Riley and this USC Trojans staff can get these prospects on campus, it can lead to positive results.
USC Trojans Spring Practice Recruiting Visitor List
Per Scott Schrader of On3, here is a list of expected recruits:
- QB Ryder Lyons – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- ATH Madden Riordan – ⭐️⭐️⭐️
- CB Brandon Lockhart – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- WR Tron Baker – ⭐️⭐️⭐️
- DL Khary Wilder – ⭐️⭐️⭐️
- OL Samuel Utu – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- DL Jake Johnson – ⭐️⭐️⭐️
- DL Preston Carey – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- EDGE Shaun Scott – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- TE – Holden Niemi – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (2027)
- WR – Kamarie Smith – ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Committed Sac State)
- Keeyshawn Schnieder – ⭐️⭐️⭐️
QB Ryder Lyons will highlight the group, but this is another really impressive visitor list on the defensive side of the ball.
Madden Riordan, Brandon Lockhart, and Tron Baker are all already committed to the Trojans, so keeping them involved in these visits is key while also encouraging them to build relationships with other potential commits.
Offensive Lineman Samuel Utu out of Orange Lutheran and EDGE Shaun Scott out of Mater Dei are big ones to watch. Both are high-priority local kids, and both are trending in favor of the Trojans.
Utu would be the highest-ranked offensive lineman for SC, just one spot ahead of commit Esun Tafa.
It is shaping out to be a great day in Los Angeles, and we will have all of the sights and sounds for you from campus.
