The 2020 NFL Free Agency tampering period has finally begun and there have already been a flurry of moves throughout the NFL. It’s been quiet for the Chargers so far, but there has been murmers that they are making a big push for Tom Brady. Will this come to fruition?
Whatever happens over the next 24 hours, week, etc., keep it right here on LAFB Network for all the updates and analysis on all transactions. We will be updating this article throughout the process!

It’s 12:30 on Tuesday and the Chargers have made a move, well kind of.
We’ve tendered offers to three players.

A second-round tender has been placed on CB Mike Davis. What is a second-round tender you ask? Simply put, it’s a one-year contract worth the greater of either $3.095 or 110 percent of the player’s prior yearly base salary. And the draft compensation if the player signs elsewhere is a second-round pick.
Per @danielrpopper, if Mike Davis signs his tender, he will have a $3.259 million cap hit this season. #LAFB #LAChargers

Exclusive Rights Tender for Isaac Rochell.
Exclusive Rights Tender for Trent Scott.
Exclusive rights essentially mean that the player cannot negotiate a contract with another team if the current team offers a one-year contract at the league minimum, and the player has not accrued more than three full seasons.
More moves coming, hopefully.
And just like that… The Chargers have agreed to terms with OT Bryan Bulaga. This is a huge upgrade for an offensive line that needs it, and will be great for whoever lines up under center. It’s a 3-year deal worth $30 million.
Former Packers’ OT Bryan Bulaga reached agreement with the Los Angeles Chargers, per source.
More protection for whoever plays QB….

More to come.

#Chargers have agreed with former #Vikings DT Linval Joseph on a two-year, $17 million deal with another $2 million in incentives, sources say.

Another great move for the Chargers as the new league year is officially underway! Defensive Tackle Linval Joseph has been really good for the Vikings and will help beef up the defensive line after the Chargers’ recent release of Brandon Mebane. Two years at about $8.5 million per season. Pretty good.
And now the Chargers make a splash!
CB Chris Harris tells me he is picking the Chargers.

Despite a down year by his standards, Chris Harris Jr. is still one of the top CBs in the game. He is best in the slot but played outside almost all of last season. There have been reports that the Raiders also made an offer to CHJ, but he turned them down to play in LA. He loves the scheme fit with the Chargers, and the secondary already in place.

A lot of people are already seeing this as the possible end for Desmond King in the powder blue, but I don’t see it that way. Talent should always overrule scheme, and if you can get guys like that together on the field at the same time, you do it.
Huge signing for the Chargers, who after three signings today, are already in a better spot for the 2020 season.
