Chances of injury come in each and every football game, but the Los Angeles Chargers found themselves in a strange set of circumstances early in their Week 6 game against the Denver Broncos.
Chargers Head Coach Left Field With Illness
Just about a minute into the game head coach Jim Harbaugh was seen going into the blue medical tent with training staff. The nature of the ailment has yet to be reported. He is questionable to return. Defensive coordinator Jesse Minter acted as interim head coach. Offensive coordinator Greg Roman remains in the booth.
Minter’s first decision came at the 9:49 mark — to go for a 4th and goal from the Denver two-yard line or kick a field goal.
Harbaugh made his return to the field with just under eight minutes remaining.
