The Los Angeles Chargers have several pressing needs to fill myriad roster spots. The positions on everyone’s mind stem from the offensive failure that manifested in the playoffs against the Houston Texans. The Texans were able to grind the running game to a halt and exploit the weak underbelly of Justin Herbert’s protection; the interior of the offensive line.
Perhaps most glaring was the lack of sound offensive weapons. Herbert was done no favors by anyone not named Ladd McConkey.
Los Angeles Chargers 2nd In Davante Adams Sweepstakes

With the New York Jets planning to release receiver Davante Adams before next Wednesday, they’ve granted him an early start in exploring his free-agency options. This marks the first time in his career that Adams has entered the open market.
According to DraftKings, the Green Bay Packers, the team that drafted him in 2014, are the current betting favorites to secure his services, with odds of +190.
The Los Angeles Chargers follow at +500, with the San Francisco 49ers at +650, the Los Angeles Rams at +750, the Pittsburgh Steelers at +950, and the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots both at 1000. A reunion with the Las Vegas Raiders is considered a 12-1 proposition.
Speculation suggests that Adams’s destination may be linked to that of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. With the New York Giants holding -150 odds to sign Rodgers, it’s possible Adams, like Rodgers, could find himself on a new team while remaining in the same city.
