The Los Angeles Chargers are actively preparing for the 2025 NFL Draft, which will be held in Green Bay, Wisconsin, in April. Following a busy free agency period where they added players like guard Mekhi Becton and running back Najee Harris, the Chargers are now focused on evaluating potential draft picks.
A key part of their strategy involves top-30 visits, which allow teams to conduct medical exams and interviews with prospects. These visits provide valuable insights into a team’s draft intentions and the positions they aim to strengthen.
Los Angeles Chargers Visiting Texas State Offensive Lineman Nash Jones

According to Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda, Several NFL teams have shown interest in Nash Jones. He met with the Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins, and Los Angeles Chargers. He also had an extensive meeting with the Seattle Seahawks, and the Minnesota Vikings are scheduled to meet with him. Prior to his pro day, he took an official top-30 visit with the Denver Broncos.
Jones is an offensive lineman who played for Texas State. He had a strong senior season and performed well at the Shrine Bowl. Despite not receiving a Combine invitation, he measured 6-foot-4 and 320 pounds at his pro day. His pro day performance included 29 bench press reps, a 31-inch vertical jump, and a 9-foot-5 broad jump. Unfortunately, he sustained a right hamstring injury during his 40-yard dash attempt.
His substantial size, coupled with his extended arm length and agile footwork, indicates a raw potential that could be effectively developed with targeted coaching. A particularly striking feature is his reported wingspan, measuring approximately 82.58 inches.
This exceptional attribute contributes significantly to his effectiveness on the offensive line, providing him with a distinct advantage in blocking and pass protection. His physical dimensions and agility suggest a versatility that would allow him to be deployed in various roles along the offensive line, making him a valuable asset for teams seeking flexibility.
