Cooper Kupp Signs With Seattle Seahawks

While it was already painful enough for Rams fans to see a legend let go, it is a gut punch to see him sign with a division rival. Now the Rams will have to face him at least twice a year. He should, however, receive a standing ovation on his return to SoFi.

Kupp returns to where it all started for him. He was born in Yakima, Washington, and played college football at Eastern Washington. So, on a personal level, his going to Seattle makes a lot of sense.

His $15 million per year contract puts him right in the middle of what the WR free-agent market was this offseason. His guaranteed salary with the Rams last season was $20 million.

After deciding to move on from Kupp, the Rams signed Davante Adams to a two-year $44 million contract, with $25 million guaranteed.
