The Los Angeles Rams are still technically alive in the playoff race, but regardless of what happens outside of a Super Bowl run, the team is in the final weeks of the season.
As such, it is time to take a quick peek ahead at some of the outstanding business to take care of in preparation for the 2025 season.
As it stands, there are a few notable names that could disappear without any action by general manager Les Snead. Here’s a look.
Los Angeles Rams Key 2024 Free Agents
Jimmy Garoppolo, QB
Jimmy Garoppolo could go the entire 2024 season without starting a game. However, if the Rams elect to let this position lapse, they could be setting themselves up for a Dolphins-like season-killer next year.
As such, whether it is Garoppolo or another option, the Los Angeles Rams will need to pursue a solution at the backup quarterback spot as soon as possible.

At this point, keeping a quarterback who has played in a Super Bowl should be the priority, even if the Rams wish to consider tip-toeing into drafting a quarterback in April.
Alaric Jackson, LT

The left tackle position is arguably the most important single position on the offensive line. If the left tackle fails, Stafford’s blind side is wide open, which can lead to fumbles or, even worse, a scoop and score.
As such, it is paramount to prioritize locking up Alaric Jackson this offseason. Jackson has earned a 74.8 PFF grade this season, further proving that the Rams cannot sleep on him.
Demarcus Robinson, WR
Demarcus Robinson has been clutch in certain spots this season. With a month to go, Robinson has scored seven touchdowns. Last season, he scored four touchdowns. As it stands, it is clear that Stafford likes Robinson in certain situations, especially in the red zone.
As long as the plan is to stick with Stafford, Robinson should be around for the ride. At age 30, he most likely doesn’t have the market for a league-leading salary, but it wouldn’t be crazy to drop a two-year deal with a beefy first year on his desk to see if he bites.
