By making the decision to move on from former All-Pro Cooper Kupp, the Los Angeles Rams have created a bit of a need at the wide receiver position.
Puka Nacua is clearly WR1, but with Kupp on his way out, both Tutu Atwell and Demarcus Robinson are set to become free agents. The Rams may need to draft a wide receiver simply out of necessity.
Let’s take a look at their best options in each round.
Los Angeles Rams Wide Receiver Targets In Each Round Of NFL Draft
1st Round: Jack Bech, TCU
Jack Bech is currently ranked as the 6th best wide receiver and the 38th overall prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft. Multiple players could fall to the Los Angeles Rams in the 1st Round, but there isn’t a receiver that would fit better with the Rams’ offense than Bech.
Bech spent two years with LSU and two years with TCU. He finished his college career with 133 receptions, 1873 total yards, and 13 touchdowns.
His best season was the 2024 season with the Horned Frogs where Bech received an 83.0 grade from PFF analytics.
His best performance was against SMU where Bech had 8 catches, 166 yards, and 2 touchdowns in a loss against the Mustangs.

Bech has plenty of upside as a potential 1st round receiver.
3rd Round: Tory Horton, Colorado State
Tory Horton is currently ranked as the 15th-best receiver and 126th-ranked prospect in the 2025 draft class. The 6’3” 185-pound wide receiver was a star during his time at Colorado State where he lit up defenses left and right.
Horton isn’t high on many draft boards because of his knee injury which placed him out for the remainder of the season on October 15th.
Horton spent two years with Nevada and three years with Colorado State. Through his time in college with the Wolfpack and Rams, the receiver prospect had 265 receptions, 3621 total yards, and 28 total touchdowns (1 passing touchdown).
With worries about his recovery from the knee injury, Horton could slip to the 3rd round where the Los Angeles Rams could very easily take a chance on him.
4th Round: Nick Nash, San Jose State
Nick Nash is currently the 19th-ranked receiver and the 160th-ranked prospect in the 2025 draft class. Nash was 2nd in the NCAA in receiving yards last season with San Jose State.
The 6’3” 195-pound receiver could hardly be stopped by opposing Mountain West defenders. Many college football analytics were calling for Nash to receive some Heisman love toward the end of the year.
Nash spent all five years of his college career at San Jose State where he had 163 receptions, 3070 total yards, and 30 touchdowns.

Nash offers possibly the most bang for your buck if you are the Los Angeles Rams who have two 3rd round picks and one 4th round pick. The Spartan prospect has incredible intangibles that the Rams could benefit from.
6th Round: KeAndre Lambert-Smith, Auburn
KeAndre Lambert-Smith is currently the 23rd-ranked receiver and the 201st-ranked overall prospect, according to PFF.
The former Auburn Tiger had the best season of his career with the Tigers this past season where he led the team in receiving yards. The 6’1” 182-pound wideout has grown as a playmaker in the five seasons he played in college.
During the first four years of college, Lambert-Smith was a member of the Penn State Nittany Lions. He finished his college career at Auburn with 176 receptions, 2702 yards, and 19 touchdowns.
KeAndre Lambert-Smith found success with a less-than-stellar quarterback room during his time at Auburn. The Tiger prospect could elevate his game even further with the LA Rams and a quarterback like Matthew Stafford.
