Deadly Southern California Wildfires Force Los Angeles Rams To Move Playoff Game To Arizona

Devastating Southern California wildfires have forced the NFL to relocate Monday’s Wild Card playoff game between the Los Angeles Rams and Minnesota Vikings from SoFi Stadium to Glendale, Arizona.

The NFL announced the decision Thursday as fires continue to ravage the Los Angeles area, causing widespread destruction. The wildfires have claimed at least six lives, destroyed thousands of structures, and forced more than 350,000 residents to evacuate.

“In the interest of public safety, Monday’s Vikings-Rams Wild Card game has been moved from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA to State Farm Stadium, the home of the Arizona Cardinals,” the NFL announced. “The decision was made in consultation with public officials, the participating clubs, and the NFLPA.”

Rams Season Ticket Members will have priority access to purchase tickets starting Friday at 10 a.m. PT on Seatgeek.com. General public ticket sales will begin at noon PT.

The game will maintain its original kickoff time of 5 p.m. PT on Monday and will be broadcast on ESPN, ABC, and ESPN+. The Vikings enter as 2.5-point road favorites.
