Earlier this week, Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report shared via X (@Schultz_Report) that Arkansas wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa has a series of visits scheduled with several NFL teams over the coming weeks, including the Los Angeles Rams, Buffalo Bills, New Orleans Saints, and the Detroit Lions, according to his sources.
While many have not come across TeSlaa’s name when preparing for the draft, due to low production numbers, his athletic traits make him an intriguing prospect for the Ram, which has a track record of finding hidden gems at the position in later rounds, notably Cooper Kupp in the third and Puka Nacua in the fifth.

A two-year starter for the Arkansas Razorbacks, TeSlaa primarily operated as the “W” receiver, or slot receiver, within offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino’s spread offensive scheme. Interestingly, TeSlaa’s football background includes playing Wing-T quarterback in high school before transitioning to receiver at the Division II level for his undergraduate career.
He then made the leap to the SEC, experiencing mixed results in his subsequent two seasons with the Razorbacks. Despite this relatively recent positional change, TeSlaa showcases impressive athleticism for his size, demonstrating the speed necessary to threaten defenses vertically and the agility to execute sharp route breaks.
Notably, he exhibits natural catch-point focus, evidenced by zero recorded drops on 100 targets during his time at Arkansas – a particularly impressive statistic for a player who has only been playing the receiver position for the past five years.

However, despite his noteworthy athleticism, it doesn’t always translate seamlessly into consistent route running. While his pre-draft process has reportedly been impressive, NFL scouts have lingering questions regarding why his on-field production and overall impact weren’t more pronounced on game film.
Overall, TeSlaa is still considered a developing prospect in terms of his route running technique and ability to consistently create separation from defenders. Nevertheless, his exceptional athletic tools and inherent ball skills are undeniable assets, and his reported strong football character and toughness are likely to sway any remaining doubters.
As he transitions to the professional level, TeSlaa projects as a depth receiver with significant upside on offense and potential contributions on special teams, suggesting a developmental prospect with intriguing raw talent.
