Miami Dolphins general manager Chris Grier has officially announced the reality of an impending Jalen Ramsey trade, and speculation about his next destination is already fueling discussions, including the release of betting odds. Among the potential suitors are not one but two of the Los Angeles Rams‘ biggest rivals, who have emerged as the early frontrunners to acquire the star cornerback.
Los Angeles Rams: Jalen Ramsey Trade Favored To End Up Back In NFC West

The San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals opened as 4-1 favorites to acquire Ramsey, according to initial odds from Great Offshore Sportsbooks. They are followed closely by the Las Vegas Raiders and the Dallas Cowboys.
While Ramsey did not receive Pro Bowl or All-Pro honors in 2024, marking the first time he has been absent from those lists since his rookie season in 2016, his overall performance did not decline significantly.
Ramsey’s 2024 season earned him a PFF grade of 76.9, ranking him 16th among 222 graded cornerbacks in the NFL. Despite being only 30 years old and having a history of relative durability (with only one season where he missed more than one game due to injury), the Dolphins are likely to receive less in a trade than what they gave up to acquire him in 2023, which was a third-round pick and tight end Hunter Long.
Regardless of his performance or the compensation, Rams fans would likely loathe the idea of seeing him in the crimson tones of either team, especially with franchise favorite Cooper Kupp already playing for the Seattle Seahawks. San Francisco already employs former Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson.
