Following the Los Angeles Rams recent free agency moves, their draft strategy has likely shifted to address remaining roster needs.
Key acquisitions include wide receiver Davante Adams, defensive tackle Poona Ford, inside linebacker Nate Landman, center Coleman Shelton, and cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon.
Notable departures are wide receiver Cooper Kupp, linebacker Christian Rozeboom, and outside linebacker Michael Hoecht.
There are not any immediate needs for the team, so most of their draft should be solidifying future starters at a few positions and, if possible, grabbing some guys that can rotate in to start.

Los Angeles Rams Best NFL Draft Fits
Offensive Tackle (OT) – Armand Membou, Missouri
Despite signing Alaric Jackson and Coleman Shelton, the Rams could benefit from additional depth and future starters on the offensive line.
Membou’s athleticism and technical skills make him a suitable candidate for Sean McVay’s zone-blocking scheme. Rob Havenstein likely only has a few more years left before he retires, so finding a future tackle should be a priority.
Draft Projection: Mid first round.

Linebacker (LB) – Jihaad Campbell, Alabama
The addition of Nate Landman addresses some linebacker needs, but adding a dynamic, versatile linebacker like Campbell could enhance the defense’s flexibility and depth. His ability to rush the passer and drop into coverage aligns well with the Rams’ defensive strategies.
Draft Projection: First round to early second round.
Cornerback (CB) – Benjamin Morrison, Notre Dame
Re-signing Ahkello Witherspoon helps address the cornerback position, but adding a young, talented corner like Morrison would provide depth and a potential future starter. His ball-hawking skills and instincts are valuable assets for the Rams’ defense.
Draft Projection: Mid-2nd round.

Wide Receiver (WR) – Isaiah Bond, Texas
With the acquisition of Davante Adams and the departure of Cooper Kupp, the Rams have a strong receiving corps. However, adding a young, speedy receiver like Bond could provide depth and a future replacement plan, especially considering potential injuries during the season.

Tight End (TE) – Gunnar Helm, Texas
