For the past few years, the Los Angeles Rams have created the tradition of turning a Los Angeles area house into their NFL Draft HQ for the weekend of the draft. All of the staff leave the team facility and transform, typically a gorgeous million-dollar home, into a draft guru’s dream.
Last year, Les Sead and Sean McVay made life-changing phone calls from a 9,000+ square foot contemporary estate in beautiful Hermosa Beach.
In partnership with Zillow, the home was re-designed to feature custom gold records celebrating the team’s Hall of Famers and record-breakers on the walls. To the delight of many, I’m sure, was the dive bar in the basement with a special merchandise room featuring the Rams most recent apparel collabs.
The team just announced plans for this year, and while it certainly will not be as lavish, it is far more meaningful.

Los Angeles Rams Announce 2025 NFL Draft House
This year, to commemorate and honor first responders and firefighters, the Rams will be holding their NFL Draft HQ at a Los Angeles Fire Station.

The amazing men and women of the LAFD and fire houses all across the Southland protect the community every day, but most notably, this is a way to honor the efforts made during the tragic Pacific Palisades and Eaton/Altadena fires just a few months ago in January.
The Rams will convert a room within the LAFD’s Air Operations site and utilize the space to handle all of their draft operations. The hanger will also be used as an area for the bulk of the staff and media for all 3 days of the NFL Draft.
“Hosting the NFL Draft at LAFD Air Operations highlights the critical role our Air Operations Division plays in protecting Los Angeles, especially during wildfire season,” Interim LAFD Chief Ronnie Villanueva said in a statement. “The Rams generosity – renovating our station and recognizing our firefighters – demonstrates a deep commitment to the city we all serve.”
This is just another example of the Rams commitment to serving the community of Los Angeles while also integrating deeper and deeper into the culture.
While the draft houses of the past were lavish and luxurious, the impact of this year is just so much better.
