The Los Angeles Rams, having committed to Matthew Stafford for the upcoming season and strengthened their receiving corps with Davante Adams, are potentially considering further offensive enhancements. Despite the departures of Cooper Kupp and Demarcus Robinson, the Rams’ acquisition of Adams, paired with Puka Nacua, is viewed as a significant upgrade. This has led to speculation about a possible blockbuster trade to further bolster their aerial attack.

Bret Stuter of Ramblin’ Fan suggests that the Rams might be contemplating a trade to secure Penn State tight end Tyler Warren in the NFL Draft. “It’s no stretch of the imagination to envision the Rams interest in Tyler Warren as legit. But if the Rams truly try to select Warren, how high must the team trade up to be in a position to select him?” Stuter wrote.

Stuter proposes a trade scenario where the Rams send their 26th overall pick, two third-round selections, and a 2026 first-round pick to the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for the No. 6 pick and a fifth-round selection. Warren is considered a highly promising tight end prospect, with some analysts viewing him as a potentially superior playmaker to the Raiders’ Brock Bowers.

During his final season at Penn State, the 22-year-old Warren recorded 104 receptions for 1,233 yards and eight touchdowns. Over his five-year collegiate career, he amassed 153 catches for 1,839 yards and 19 touchdowns. His 6-foot-6 frame and exceptional athleticism make him a highly coveted prospect, similar to Bowers in the previous year’s draft.

The Rams’ need for a reliable tight end is evident, particularly with Tyler Higbee’s declining performance, making Warren a logical target. However, the Rams’ willingness to pay the steep price for a trade-up remains uncertain. Furthermore, the Raiders may be reluctant to trade down from the sixth overall pick.
