The Los Angeles Rams have navigated their offseason with strategic precision, making key moves to bolster their roster. Despite the departure of Cooper Kupp, the acquisition of Davante Adams signals a clear intent to maintain offensive firepower. As they prepare for the upcoming season, the Rams are aiming to replicate their NFC West division success.
After overcoming a sluggish start last season, the Rams rallied to secure a playoff berth and claim the NFC West title with a 10-7 record. This achievement fuels optimism for further improvement if they can maintain their momentum. However, the San Francisco 49ers, their divisional rivals, have sparked speculation about a potential resurgence.
Los Angeles Rams Win West, Per Rich Eisen

Analyst Rich Eisen, however, remains skeptical of the 49ers’ chances.
“The Niners are dismantling, rebuilding, recasting, whatever you want to call it. The Rams damn near beat the Philadelphia Eagles in a playoff season where nobody else came close,” Eisen stated on The Rich Eisen Show. “They just replaced Cooper Kupp with Davante Adams… They signed Poona Ford from the Chargers, he doesn’t have to change addresses… And still people think the 49ers have a better shot at winning the division? Okay.”
While the 49ers could pose a significant challenge if they return to their 2023 form, the Rams’ strategic moves position them as strong contenders. Retaining quarterback Matthew Stafford is crucial, and the addition of Adams to an offense already featuring Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell creates a formidable unit.
The Rams’ near-victory against the Philadelphia Eagles in the playoffs, coupled with their earlier win against the Buffalo Bills in a snow game, demonstrates their resilience. If they can maintain player health, the Rams are a team capable of not only winning the NFC West but also making a deep playoff run.
