Staff writer for the Turf Show Times, Blaine Grisak, posted a video to Twitter from the NFL Combine of former South Carolina Gamecocks quarterback, Spencer Rattler praising Los Angeles Rams Quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Los Angeles Rams Again Search For Adequate Backup For Stafford
The quarterback depth behind Stafford is currently and once again in question. Carson Wentz is a free agent and Stetson Bennett‘s status with the team is murky.
It is unknown if Rattler has met with the Rams, but he did confirm meeting with the Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos, both clubs are in need of a starting quarterback, not just an ‘in case of emergency’ backup. Rattler also met with the New England Patriots during his time at the Senior Bowl.
Rattler has been one quarterback thought of as a potential draft pick to meet the Rams needs at the position. The 6’1″ 218-pounder had the best year of his career in 2023, throwing for 3186 yards and 19 touchdowns and only eight interceptions.
Rattler is ranked 88th on Dane Brugler’s Top 100 at The Athletic. His mock draft consensus has him going in the third round, but some mock drafters give him a first-round grade.
Rattler will participate in drills and throw at the NFL Combine on Saturday. Quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers start at 10 PST.
