Las Vegas Raiders Meet With QB, CB, and OL During Pre-Draft Process

According to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, the Raiders, along with the New York Jets, sent personnel to Austin to meet with Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers prior to his pro day. Ewers, 22, has a busy schedule, with further meetings planned in early April, including additional visits with the Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts, and another meeting with Las Vegas.
The Raiders’ interest extends beyond quarterbacks. Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports that Michigan cornerback Will Johnson is also scheduled to meet with the team. Johnson, a highly regarded prospect, has already met with the Atlanta Falcons and reportedly had a meeting with the Arizona Cardinals, highlighting his appeal to multiple franchises.
Furthermore, Oregon offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr. is drawing significant attention. Per Aaron Wilson, Conerly is set to meet with several NFL teams, including the Houston Texans, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, Cincinnati Bengals, and Chicago Bears. Wilson also notes that Conerly held formal meetings with the Texans, Jets, Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots, Raiders, Commanders, and San Francisco 49ers at the NFL Scouting Combine, indicating widespread interest in his potential.
