With the No. 6 pick, the Las Vegas Raiders have several potential avenues to explore in the upcoming draft. One intriguing possibility is an investment in the offensive line. While Kolton Miller is firmly established at left tackle, even as he enters his age-30 season, the right tackle position presents a significant question mark for the team.
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Miller is not participating in the team’s current voluntary offseason workouts as he pursues that new deal, which could escalate the team’s further need if the two sides cannot come to a deal before the draft.
Las Vegas Raiders May Prioritize RT In 2025 NFL Draft

According to Sportskeeda.com’s Tony Pauline, the Raiders are seriously considering addressing this need by selecting Missouri tackle Armand Membou, potentially passing on running back Ashton Jeanty.
“Many I’ve spoken with feel that Membou will be the first offensive lineman selected in the draft, ahead of Will Campbell of LSU, Pauline wrote.
Although Jeanty is ranked higher on Daniel Jeremiah’s NFL.com big board (third, compared to Membou’s 12th), Membou offers greater positional value. The Athletic’s Dane Brugler puts Membou higher on his Top 100 at 7, writing, “Membou might not have ideal height for tackle, but he plays long with exceptional control and finishing skills. His tools remind me of Troy Fautanu from the 2024 draft class, and all the talent is there for him to become a long-term NFL starting tackle.”
The potential impact of drafting a top-tier tackle is evident in the success the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had with Tristan Wirfs at right tackle in the 2020 first round, a move that benefited then-Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, who is now part-owner of the Raiders.
Membou would provide the Raiders with a definitive solution at right tackle, which would be a significant asset for quarterback Geno Smith. However, selecting Jeanty would bolster Smith’s relatively thin group of offensive weapons.
