Furthermore, Pauline’s report also mentions that there are “whispers” within NFL circles suggesting interest from the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Seattle Seahawks. So far, the Browns, Seahawks, and Steelers have demonstrated their interest by hosting Shough for official top-30 visits.

Shough, 25, entered college as a highly regarded four-star recruit. He was ranked as the sixth overall quarterback in the 2018 class and came out of Chandler, Arizona. He initially committed to and enrolled at Oregon for the 2018 season.

Dane Brugler has evaluated Shough as the No. 59 ranked player overall and the No. 4 quarterback in this draft class.

Throughout his collegiate career, spanning seven years, Shough participated in 42 games, completing 63 percent of his passes for 7,820 yards, throwing for 59 touchdowns and 23 interceptions. He also displayed his mobility, rushing 246 times for 733 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Following three years at Oregon, Shough entered the transfer portal and committed to Texas Tech for the 2022 season. He again entered the portal for his final year of eligibility in 2024, ultimately committing to Louisville.
