We are nearly 48 hours away from the start of the 2025 NFL Draft, and the Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the 6th overall pick.
There has been plenty of speculation about what the Raiders could do with that pick, whether it is selecting running back Ashton Jeanty, drafting the top wide receiver in the class, or trading back to acquire more picks.
There are also rumors about their current roster and potential players that could be used in a trade on draft night to gain more capital.
One of the more frequent names to pop up is tight end, and former second-round pick, Michael Mayer.
Today, a new name has emerged as potentially being on the trade block.

Adam Schefter Reveals Raiders Tyree Wilson Could Be On Trade Block

The Las Vegas Raiders drafted Tyree Wilson 7th-overall out of Texas Tech. The 6’6, 275-pound EDGE has immense upside, but has yet to find his footing in the NFL.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, he could be one of the players floated during the NFL Draft weekend as a trade candidate.
- Tyree Wilson Career Stats: 56 tackles, 8 sacks, 8 tackles for loss, 8 QB hits, 1 fumble recovery
While Wilson has not lived up to his first-round talent, he is just entering his 3rd year in the league, so he has a lot of contract flexibility if a team would like to take a chance on his upside and has a need at EDGE. Trading a late-round pick for a player just two years removed from being drafted 7th-overall is a risk worth taking for a lot of teams.
The current regime of GM John Spytek and head coach Pete Carroll have no ties to Wilson and have been slowly rebuilding the roster.
There are already plenty of trade rumors out there for TE Michael Mayer and QB Aidan O’Connell. Tyree Wilson is the latest name to be added to this list.
