The NCAA National Signing Day has been tough for the UCLA Bruins. Heading into it, their top running back T.J. Harden announced his plan to enter the transfer portal. Quarterback Justyn Martin did the same. Yesterday, it was predicted that the Bruins would lose four-star, edge rusher commit Epi Sitanilei. Not long after, top wide receiver Logan Loya announced his intent to enter the transfer portal, and Jace Brown, three-star WR, flipped his commitment to Arkansas.

Shortly before Brown announced his intentions, it was reported that four-star quarterback Madden Iamaleava would also sign with the Razorbacks.

Iamaleava had committed to UCLA in May of this year.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Long Beach, CA native, is ranked as the No. 24 quarterback in the 2025 class and the No. 26 overall prospect from California, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

Madden is the younger brother of Tennessee QB Nico Iamaleava.

With Ethan Garbers reaching the end of his NCAA eligibility, and Martin in the transfer portal, the Bruins quarterback situation has become dire. They don’t have a clear quarterback on their roster, so they will likely look to the transfer portal for their next offensive captain.
