George Clooney, Denzel Washington, Brad Pitt, Adam Levine. What do all these men have in common? They are all past winners of Time Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive. What else do all of these men have in common? None of them can kick a 50-yard field goal but the very first Al Dente Dude sure can.
The Al Dente Dude is the NFL player who we think had one of the hottest on-field performances but is also pretty easy on the eyes. Eric Decker is a pretty good looking dude, but I do not foresee him ever being an Al Dente Dude thanks to his poor play.
So having a big day in the stat book is only one part of winning this prestigious award. You also have to be a nice piece of eye candy. There were a few names that were considered for our inaugural award winner like Mark Ingram, Carson Wentz, and of course Tom Brady. However, none of these men jumped off of the page like the very first Al Dente Dude.

[/nectar_flip_box]The New Orleans Saints came back to defeat the Washington Redskins on Sunday in dramatic fashion. Sure the offense and defense played their parts in the surge to victory but without Lutz, none of it is possible.
He was perfect and hit all four of his field goal attempts as well as his two extra point tries. He was good from 52, 29, 42, and 28 yards out. The first three field goals from Lutz kept the Saints in the game while his fourth and final make sealed the win for his team in overtime. He was clutch as he has been all year hitting 85% of his attempts in 2017. Not perfect but he is playing his part and without him, the streak would have ended at seven.

Per the pre-requisites to be considered for this honor, Lutz not only had a very successful outing on the field but is also quite the looker. The 23-year-old Georgia native has a nice smile, good hair, and eyes that even Magellan could get lost in. Congratulations Mr. Lutz on being named our very first Al Dente Dude.
