Daily Fantasy Football Optimal Lineup

Daily Fantasy Football QB Pick: Aaron Rodgers vs. Detroit Lions ($6,000)

The Packers are one of the few teams that are playing for a playoff spot in Week 18. If Green Bay wins, then they claim the number seven seed in the NFC. This makes Rodgers one of the best starts this week because you know he’s going to bring his best and he’s going to do that for all four quarters of the game. Rodgers has only had one 20-point performance in 2022. This week, in their last shot, to get into the playoffs, expect Rodgers to give it everything he’s got to make sure he can take the Packers to the playoffs for the 11th time in his 15 seasons as the Packers starter.

Now the Chargers are battling for the 5 seed and need the Cincinatti Bengals to win against the Baltimore Ravens in the Week 18 Ravens vs Bengals game. The Chargers made the playoffs for the first time under Brandon Staley and Joe Lombardi has improved his offensive playcalling greatly. Justin Herbert is one of the best QB in the NFL and with Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Austin Ekeler all healthy the Chargers will have many offense highlights in 2022.Listen to our Chargers Podcast: https://www.lafbnetwork.com/la-football-show/Go to www.LAFBNetwork.com for FREE full access to all of our podcasts and join the community!Text ‘Bolts’ to 31032 to join the conversation!Social Media: @LAFBNetwork | @Michael_Maclane | @RyanDyrudLAFB | @LAFBJamzSponsors: TickPick is the official ticket partner of the LA Football Network: https://www.tickpick.com/LAFBBrandon Staley is the Los Angeles Chargers Head Coach for the 2022 NFL Season but after the 2023 NFL Draft the Chargers could have Sean Payton as Head Coach if they don’t get some highlights and win games. While Green Bay is playing Detroit, who is also looking to claim the number seven seed as well, they have one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL. The Lions are allowing the third most passing yards in the NFL and have given up 25 passing touchdowns which are tied for the seventh worst in the NFL. The landscape of picking players in Week 18 is kind of tough, but rolling with Rodgers this week is a great choice in a win-and-they’re-in game at home.

Other QB Options: Geno Smith vs. Los Angeles Rams ($6,400), Kirk Cousins vs. Chicago Bears ($6,500)

Daily Fantasy Football RB Pick: Kenneth Walker III vs. Los Angeles Rams ($6,400)

Seattle is hoping they can claim the final spot in the NFC playoffs, but they need some help from Detroit to do that. Since the Seahawks play before the Lions on Sunday, they need to take care of business beating the Rams before they start praying that the Lions beat the Packers on Sunday Night Football.

With that said, you can look at Walker to be a prominent piece of the Seahawks offense to move the ball down the field. Last week against the New York Jets, Walker totaled 133 rushing yards off of 23 carries and this all totaled 18.2 fantasy football points in DFS. Walker and the Seahawks rushing attack gets the benefit of playing a weak Rams rushing defense that has given up 137.8 rushing yards per game over their last five games. While Los Angeles is going to try and play spoiler, Walker should have his way with their defense and be able to put together a great fantasy day for your DFS roster this week.

Other RB Options: Najee Harris vs. Cleveland Browns ($6,100), Raheem Mostert vs. New York Jets ($6,000)

Daily Fantasy Football WR Pick: D.J. Moore vs. New Orleans Saints – $6,100

Moore is closing out his 2022 season really strong. In his last five games, Moore has averaged six targets, four receptions, 75 receiving yards, and a touchdown. He’s scored a touchdown in three straight games and is definitely the main passing option with Sam Darnold under center now. In his career, Moore has scored the most touchdowns against the New Orleans Saints, the team the Panthers face in the final week of the regular season.

As mentioned earlier, this is a tough week to pick fantasy football players who may or may not play the entire game in Week 18. Expect the Panthers coaching staff to see what they have in the offense for next season and Moore will easily be on the field enough to warrant a good game this weekend.

Other WR Options: Ja’Marr Chase vs. Baltimore Ravens ($8,400), Allen Lazard vs. Detroit Lions ($5,500)

Daily Fantasy Football TE Pick: Tyler Conklin vs. Miami Dolphins – $3,600

Joe Flacco is starting the final game of the regular season for the New York Jets and this is excellent news for Conklin. When Flacco started the first three games of the season, Conklin saw his highest statistical output during the entire 2022 season. In those three games, he averaged eight targets, six receptions, and nearly 50 receiving yards. It’s no secret that Flacco loves finding his tight end in the offense, even when you go back to his days as the starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens. So this connection with Conklin should continue in this Week 18 game and you can get a good fantasy output from Conklin for your DFS lineup.

Other TE Options: David Njoku vs. Pittsburgh Steelers ($3,900), Dallas Goedert vs. New York Giants ($4,900)

Daily Fantasy Football FLEX Pick: Elijah Mitchell vs. Arizona Cardinals – $4,000

San Francisco is trying to lock up the number two seed with a victory over the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals are giving up 4.5 rushing yards per attempt (tied for 10th most in the NFL) and have allowed 19 rushing touchdowns (seventh most in the NFL). While there is a risk that the 49ers might pull the starters if this game gets out of hand early, Mitchell might see more playing time. The reason is he is coming off the injured reserve list and needs to get some work before the Niners make their postseason run.

It’s likely that Christian McCaffrey will be pulled regardless of the state of the game, which would be good for Mitchell to earn a lot of carries and get back into game shape. Also with this price, Mitchell is a very affordable option in DFS this week and is sure to get enough touches in the offense to make his day a great one for fantasy football purposes.

Other FLEX Options: Drake London vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($4,900), J.K. Dobbins vs. Cincinnati Bengals ($5,700)

Daily Fantasy Football D/ST Pick: Dolphins vs. New York Jets – $3,000

Miami is still mathematically alive in the AFC playoff picture and they need to get a win against the Jets in order to stay in contention. The Dolphins are forced to start rookie Skylar Thompson because of injuries to Teddy Bridgewater and Tua Tagovailoa. There’s a high probability that the rushing attack will be featured on offense, but that means the defense will need to step up their game to keep the Dolphins in the game against New York.

There will be times that the offense will stall and the defense will for sure need to play at a high level to pick up the slack and give the offense enough opportunities to put points on the board. Heck, it couldn’t hurt if the defense ends up scoring a touchdown and against this Jets offense led by Joe Flacco, it could very well happen.

In his three starts this season, Flacco averaged one interception and three sacks per game. This all bodes well for the Miami Dolphins as they can rack up some good defensive metrics and hopefully punch their first ticket to the playoffs since 2016.

Other D/ST Options: 49ers vs. Arizona Cardinals ($4,100), Packer vs. Detroit Lions ($2,900)
