It’s Time For Derek Carr To Lift?

After a tumultuous week off the field, it’s time for Derek Carr to lift.

More than ever before, the Oakland Raiders need their main man to step up and lead from the front.

Reports emerged during the week, that suggest Carr cried on the field during a recent loss. We live in 2018 folks, if a man wants to cry on the field over his and his team’s performance, then so be it.

The latest from this incident is, or at least so it seems, it has split the dressing room and the players don’t have any faith in their leader anymore. This is a big problem. If your team wont play for you, you will never win another game. This is a bad look for the underperforming Raiders.

It is no longer a question of did he cry or didn’t he, it has become a “will they play under Carr?” problem.

The Raiders return from the bye week at 1-5, ready to face an Indianapolis Colts team who will be on a high after thrashing the Buffalo Bills in their last outing.

This is arguably the most important game thus far for the Silver and Black. The Black Hole at Alameda Coliseum will be buzzing with anticipation at Carr and his men attempt to turn their season around.

It’s always a challenge, but they need to shut out the outside noise and remember why they are playing for each other. They won’t win another game unless they can play for each other again.

This game is crucial for them going forward. This is the game that will make or break them.
