Debate: How Important Is Culture And Identity To A College Football Program?
The USC Football program has been in disarray for quite some time. There have been many coaching changes and a true lack of culture and identity. How important is an established culture to a collegiate football program?
Many would argue that it is the most important factor and everything else comes second. Others would argue that while it does carry importance and relevance, recruiting and talent on the field are what win games and give you the opportunity for championships.
The USC Football Spring Practice sessions are almost wrapped up with the Spring Game just days away. I can say, after attending a few of these practices, the culture definitely seems to have shifted, which is a good thing considering what the program has been.
