Greatest Defensive Player In NFL History Graces The USC Trojans Sideline For Utah State Game

USC Trojans games have always been know as a celebrity hotspot. It’s Los Angeles, and for years, they were not only the pseudo-professional football team in the City, but they were also the hottest ticket in town with the Dodgers and Lakers both having down periods.

During these glory years, the celebrities on the sidelines made the games that much more fun and enticing.

This has become a norm again since the start of the Lincoln Riley era, and tonight, against the Utah State Aggies, a piece of LA Football royalty is in the building, Aaron Donald.

Since he retired after last season, and with the hiring of Eric Henderson as Co-Defensive Coordinator/Defensive Line Coach, Donald has been to practice on campus and has been frequently rocking USC Trojans swag on social media.

It’s always cool when the local pro and college teams have a connection, but it’s also an extremely powerful recruiting tool when arguably the greatest defensive player in NFL history promotes the program and brand.

Obviously, a big part of this connection is Eric Henderson. Not that he needs more to his recruiting arsenal (he has quickly become recognized as one of the best recruiters in the country), but having the Aaron Donald card available to play at any time certainly is a nice party trick.

The USC Trojans kick-off against the Utah State Aggies at 8 PM PT, and Donald will be on the USC sidelines taking it all in.
