Since the end of the College Football season, the Transfer Portal has seen some big names enter, but for the USC Trojans, it has been mostly quiet.
Offensive Linemen Amos Talele and Gino Quinones, QB Miller Moss, and backup kicker Denis Lynch entered the portal, but no real surprise players, or starters, have entered.
There has been the belief that most likely a few players from the Trojans receiving corps would end up transferring, and today the first one made the announcement.
USC Trojans Wide Receiver Kyron Hudson To Enter Transfer Portal
Kyron Hudson was the longest-tenured WR on the team (Kyle Ford left for a year and came back) and was the leader of the room.
It is not a huge surprise that we will not be with the Trojans next year, but it is a bit surprising that he is entering the portal.
During Senior Day last week, Hudson ran out of the tunnel for the last time, signifying the end of a career with the Cardinal and Gold. But the expectation of many was that he would enter the NFL Draft. So that is where the surprise comes from.

But with a loaded room, and perhaps a bit of a new direction, it makes sense for Hudson to transfer somewhere that he can put out as much film as possible for a potential NFL future.
At USC, there are just too many mouths to feed.
Hudson finished the year with 38 receptions, 462 yards, and 3 touchdowns. He will likely be most remembered for his unbelievable one-handed catch against LSU in Week 1 in Las Vegas.
We have not received word at this time of any other WRs entering the portal, but do not be surprised if more do, and we do know that Lincoln Riley will likely add a few from the portal himself.
