At this point, it feels like every day that the USC Trojans are making headlines, and for all the right reasons. It is being reported by Football Scoop that the Trojans are adding another elite hire to their front office.
According to John Brice of Football Scoop:
“Multiple sources in the Midwest tell FootballScoop Wednesday that Bowden is hiring away Notre Dame Director of Player Personnel Zaire Turner into a key role of similar stature within the USC Trojans program.”
This comes just a week after the Trojans hired Chad Bowden away from Notre Dame, and it looks like Lincoln Riley will be adding their Director of Player Personnel, Zaire Turner, as well.
USC Trojans To Hire Zaire Turner To Front Office Staff
Similar to Bowden, Turner is considered by many a rising star in the College Football world and was elevated to Notre Dame’s DPP role a year ago.
Turner will fill a similar role with the Trojans, and could potentially, take on some of the duties previously oversaw by Annie Hanson.
Hanson, the Trojans’ Executive Director of Recruiting, just announced last night that she would be stepping down from her role to focus on her family and newborn son.
Certainly not the exact same roles, but there could be some crossover for Turner with Bowden overseeing everything.
If the reports are true, hiring Zaire Turner away from Notre Dame is another home run for the USC Trojans.
