One of the surprise USC Trojans to enter the transfer portal was wide receiver Duce Robinson. The former 5-Star recruit out of Arizona was a two-sport athlete (baseball) who really seemed to catch his stride late in the season.
He was always a red zone threat, but his game became a bit more versatile as the season progressed.
After the season, I was fairly confident that two of the four sophomore WRs would ultimately transfer out, but I did not think that Robinson would be one of them.
Well, he did, and the Trojans are looking towards the future with Makai Lemon and Ja’Kobi Lane as their two top WRs heading into the 2025 season.
Former USC Trojans WR Duce Robinson Transfers To Florida State
After heavy speculation that Robinson would return to his home school of Arizona State, the prediction flipped on Saturday, and now it has been announced that he will transfer to Florida State.
While this was a bit of a surprising decision considering the state of the Florida State program, Robinson is a legacy as his dad, Dominic Robinson, played for the Seminoles.

Robinson will have two years of eligibility left.
While Lemon and Lane will anchor the Trojans receiver room, Lincoln Riley and his staff will look to add depth through the transfer portal.
Jay Fair is set to return as well with current freshman Xavier Jordan, and three incoming freshmen in the 2025 class.
