Just hours after Centennial High School upset Mission Viejo in the CIF Division 1 Quarterfinals 25-20, 5-Star quarterback Husan Longstreet gave fans another surprise.

According to our friend Scott Schrader of On3.com, Longstreet is at the Coliseum as the USC Trojans take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

USC Trojans Recruitment Of Husan Longstreet Heating Up

Longstreet is currently committed to Texas A&M, but rumors have been swirling for over a week that current USC commit, Julian Lewis, will be flipping to another school, and talks between the Trojans and Longstreet have intensified.

We just wrote last night that Lincoln Riley and his staff have locked in on the local prospect, and QB coach Luke Huard was at the Centennial football game last night.

In that game, Longstreet threw for 236 yards and a touchdown and also ran for a score. Centennial will take on Mater Dei in the Semifinals.

There are still a lot of moving parts, but having Longstreet in the building is certainly a good sign of progress.

Now can the Trojans make a statement and beat the Cornhuskers?
